Hello and Welcome Back!
Hey everyone-
Use this site as a place to locate information about class, review materials and concepts, and catch up on what you might have missed. I'll do my best to make this an "All Thing English Class" resource:
Here's a bit of info about me (in case you were wondering)
-This is my fifth year at Conestoga Valley High School
-I'm the head Boys' Lacrosse Coach
-I am a co-advisor for the school's literary magazine - Out of Print
-I earned my bachelor's degree at Temple University
-I am earning my Master's degree (Humanities) through Penn State and plan to finish this summer
-My wife attends UPenn's school of Veterinary Medicine. She's in her first year and is an awesome person
-I have two out of control Boston Terriers - Roo and Dexter
-I love watching movies and reading books. Here's some recent titles/suggestions
-I enjoy skateboarding and snowboarding but I chipped a bone in my foot the past November, and it's been a slow recovery
-I play drums and guitar. Here's a picture of those:
-Okay - that about sums things up. Here's a quote for your consideration:
Someone once asked me to state once and for all the most beautiful person I'd ever met. Well, the only people I can ever pick out as unequivocal beauties are from the movies, and then when you meet them, they're not really beauties either, so your standards don't even really exist. In life, the movie stars can't even come up to the standards they set on film. - Andy Warhol
